Our instructors are led by Sano Babu, himself a distinguished specialist in cross-country and high altitude flying.
Babu Adventure’s Resort and Adventures School is located in the heartland of the Himalaya, the mid-hills of Nepal. The area offers some of the best flying conditions in the world for paragliding and training as well as relaxing and enjoying life during your stay here. The area is especially suitable for thermalling(soaring) and cross-country (XC) practice and the conditions allow for maximum possible airtime in magnificent natural surroundings…gliding like a bird…feeling the freedom of the skies.
Our Resort and adventure school offers paragliding courses for all levels from absolute beginner to advanced piloting skills. Conditions near the school are some of the best worldwide, and that allows ample practice and instruction and rapid progression in skills and knowledge. We offer all the necessary logistics and technique instructions and supervision. It is all-inclusive at Babu Adventure Headquarters with room and board as well as skilled, personal instruction, transportation and equipment and nearly constant views of the snowy Himalaya to take your breath away. From a few days to weeks or even months, we will be with you offering instruction, guidance, supervision and support. We place a lot of emphasis on teaching you to gain confidence to fly naturally, without relying on instrumentation…feeling nature and the environment and responding to flying as if you are a bird yourself!
All courses include transport, food and lodging (with wi-fi) in our private resort.A typical day starts early when conditions are usually best. We make our way to the nearby launching site and depending on weather, we stay in the air for as long as possible each day. Weather is usually the determining factor and we cannot control it. Safety is always given a priority and instruction proceeds at your pace and not on a set schedule.
