When Sano Babu Sunuwar succesfully flew from the top of the Mt. Everest he started a new dream, a life time achievement: climbing and tandem paragliding from the top of the 7 highest peaks in the world.

After his expedition to the top of Africa's highest peak 'Kilimanjaro' and flying safely down with his tandem glider he was ready to conquer the highest peak of Europa: the Mt. Elbrus.

Together with Russian national Natalia Safonova, who learned paragliding 1 year ago at The Babu Adventures and was highly touched by this dream of Babu Sunuwar, they started the hike to the top on the 18th of July, 2016. At the 27th of July they (6 days earlier than scheduled) they not much later succesfully landed. It was the first record in history of tandem paragliding to fly from the top of the Mt. Elbrus.

At the age of only 33 years old, Sano Babu Sunuwar has already led many adventures: he has 32 Himalayan feed river descents on his name and he also was the first person in the world who succesfully flew cross Nepal by tandem (832 aerial distance) in 2010 and in 2013 he participated as the first (and only) Himalayan paragliding pilot in the Red Bull X-Alps, the worlds largest extreme adventure race.

Babu Sunuwar would like to thank all his family members, The Babu Adventure Team and his friends from all over the world for the support they give him. This part of the mission could not have been succesful without all this support and prayers.
