On 25th of April, 2015 Nepal got hit by a horrible earthquake, which killed nearly 9,000 people and injured nearly 22,000. Together with Dennis McMahon, The Babu Adventures quickly teamed up, eached contributing $500 to start an effective fundraise. We quickly were able to collect materials, like shelters, blankets, mattrassses, foods, medicines, etc. We used jeeps to move the materials to the designated area’s in Bhachok Gorkha as well as areas in Lamjung, Sindhupalchowk.

The team was lead by Mr. Bhupal Singh Gurung. He did his very best to manage the distrubution for the most necessary things for those people in the affected area’s.

In Okhaldhunga district we’ve build a school (Shree Kalika Higher Secondary School), 2 other school buildings and 44 houses for the villagers within a month.

We’d like to thank everybody for their support: Mr. Dennis Mcmahon, SAR Dogs Nepal, MARM, Khahare Youth Club, Team 5 Paragliding, Frontiers Paragliding, Karma Flights, Hemation Pave, Paddle Nepal, Bike Nepal,  and the pilots and management team of The Babu Adentures.

And at last, but not at least a huge thank you for all of your support from around the world to support The Babu Adventures to be able to give (first) support to the victims of the earthquake.
